Speed up the process by sending in your own molD

If you ALREADY have A plaster MOLD of your upper teeth, send IT TO us and speed things up.

  • Text photos of your upper mold to 951-634-6708 and we'll let you know if it meets our requirements; not all molds are created equally. 
  • Shop for your custom mouthguard, and in the shipping options at checkout, select SEND US YOUR MOLD.
  • Fill out the order form below, and enclose it with your mold. If you don’t have a printer, just write down all the information from the order form on a piece of paper, and send that with your mold.
  • Package your mold very carefully because it is very fragile. If it gets damaged during shipping, we will not be able to use it. DO NOT let it rattle around in the package.

GETTING A MOLD MADE FROM A DENTIst? 

Make sure they can provide what we require before getting your mold made. Show them the photos and info on this page, and if they can't acheive this, go somewhere else!

  • Impression must have full vestibule capture (see photo below) with frenum attachments; tall impression with all the teeth and all the gums.
  • Model must be poured in yellow lab stone (see 4 photos above), NOT soft white plaster or hard die stone, with minimal bubbles.
  • Model needs a full base (see 4 photos above) that we can trim in the lab; DO NOT model trim the model.

Send upper model only. Do not send a lower model or bite registration.

Thickness Recommendations

ULTRA LIGHT: 3mm
Comfort Level = A+   |  Protection Level = B

SPORT: Jiu jitsu, wrestling, football, rugby, soccer, basketball, hockey/field hockey, baseball/softball, roller derby, motocross/BMX, weight lifting, rodeo, volleyball, competitive cheerleading.
RECOMMENDATIONS: For athletes of all ages participating in any of the sports listed above.
APPROXIMATE THICKNESS: 3mm

LIGHT: 3.5mm
Comfort Level = A+   |  Protection Level = B+

SPORT: Amateur boxing, MMA, muay thai, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, wrestling.
RECOMMENDATIONS: For youth athletes ages 8-15. Also, for athletes ages 16 and older, under 200lbs, that prefer a thinner mouthguard.
APPROXIMATE THICKNESS: 3.5mm

MEDIUM: 4mm
Comfort Level = A   |  Protection Level = A

SPORT: Pro & amateur boxing, MMA, muay thai, kickboxing.
RECOMMENDATIONS: For pro & amateur fighters ages 16 and up, under 200lbs.
APPROXIMATE THICKNESS: 4mm

HEAVY: 4.5mm
Comfort Level = B   |  Protection Level = A+

SPORT: Pro boxing, MMA, muay thai, kickboxing.
RECOMMENDATIONS: For pro fighters over 200lbs that prefer the feel of a heavy duty mouthguard.
APPROXIMATE THICKNESS: 4.5mm

Dental grade soft EVA mouthguard material is heated and pressure formed (under 87psi) onto the plaster model of the athlete's teeth. Since everybody's teeth are different in size, shape, and placement, the “APPROXIMATE THICKNESS” may vary.
